CoQ10 absorption has always been a hurdle when trying to maximize CoQ10 benefits. In fact, less than 1% of orally dosed CoQ10 actually makes its way into the bloodstream after passing through the gastrointestinal tract.
CoQH-CF is specially formulated in its ubiquinol form using Kaneka ubiquinol which is designed to provide enhanced bioavailability of CoQ10. CoQ10 comes in two forms, ubiquinone (the oxidized form) and ubiquinol (the reduced form). Ubiquinol is the dominant form of CoQ10 in our liver and blood. Ubiquinol has two hydroxyl groups that don’t exist in ubiquinone which allow ubiquinol to act as an electron donor to neutralize free radicals outside the cells and help produce cellular energy within the cells. These extra electrons are what makes ubiquinol better at promoting oxidation support and energy levels than ubiquinone. Ubiquinol has been shown in studies to promote oxidative support activity and may help regulate lipid peroxidation levels. Having lower lipid peroxidation levels is believed to support a healthy cardiovascular state.
CoQH-CF is specially formulated with industry leading Kaneka CoQ10, d-Limonene, Capric and Caprylic acid, and Alpha Lipoic Acid for stability and bioavailability.
d-Limonene: The d-Limonene component serves as an organic solvent that solubilizes CoQ10 without unwanted chemical reactions or degradation for CoQ10.
Alpha Lipoic Acid: Also known as ALA, further protects ubiquinol from oxidation. This component makes CoQH-CF truly unique as it makes CoQ10 universally soluble, meaning it is soluble in lipid and aqueous environments.
Jar Material/Color: In an effort to use more appropriate materials for certain products, we will be phasing in different bottles that contain HDPE vs PET. As we make this transition you may receive a bottle that is different in color and material than that pictured.
